Time and time again power persuasion students who are interested in power persuasion are being told that covert hypnosis consist of the use of language patterns that were developed by Dr. Milton Erickson and later refined by the founders of Nero Linguistic Programming. Yet, the claims these so called “gurus” are making are not in any way, shape, or form living up to all the hype.

The essential reason why conversational hypnosis is not a legitimate instrument in and of itself to fully put together into the ideology of power persuasion is because conversational hypnosis has its actual roots in therapeutic processes. Therapy and the art of persuasion are two completely diverse areas of human mind control that are designed for two completely different purposes. Attempting to use conversational hypnosis strategies in the realm of covert hypnosis would be like trying to use the medical processes of brain surgery for an open heart surgery. It is highly unlikely that Ericksonain Hypnosis will achieve correctly if it is taken out of its theraputic background.

The main reason why conversational hypnosis is fragile within the world of power persuasion is for the reason that conversational hypnosis always consist of a volunteer who makes an appointment with the hypnotist, thus giving the hypnotist consent to apply his tools. This empowers the conversational hypnotist to use the tools he has at his disposal, because a client volunteered of their free will to cooperate with the lingusitic strategies that will be applied during the hypnosis session. This is an extremely imperative lesson that the person studying power persuasion must fully understand, for the reason that in authentic covert hypnosis it is not necessary to have the consent of the person who is being hypnotized.

Another interesting observation to make note of is to take a brief look at history: It doesn’t matter if you are examining the lives of Napoleon, Alexander the Great, Cleopatra, or any other influential and influential person who ever lived–none of these people were practicing conversational hypnosis. The reason why we recognize this is because Ericksonian Hypnosis wasn’t even born yet, and this shows us that it is impossible that the most victorious and powerful people who ever lived were learning and studying a therapeutic kind of hypnosis that wasn’t even yet invented during their time.

Furthermore, ever since Hypnosis was invented, as of yet it has not produced one single powerful person or world leader. Ericksonian Hypnosis has, nonetheless, done lots of brilliant things for hypnotic therapy, but it has done very little for hypnotic mind control scenarios that are outside of clinical settings. And its irrelevant how fancy the principles of conversational hypnosis may sound, because even though they may sound fancy and sophisticated, they simply will not give you the results you are looking for if you attempt to use them outside of clinical settings.

Disguised Hypnosis, on the other hand, has been practiced by influential and successful people for centuries, and all of the principles that are contained in Disguised Hypnosis can be neatly packed into all of the elements of power persuasion. This is why Disguised Hypnosis is perfect for anyone who wants to add to their social status so that they can control their social interactions on a consistent basis, for the reason that Disguised Hypnosis originated from the actual real meaning of power persuasion as we have known it for centuries.

Learning hypnotic persuasion skills from a book can be a complex business this Persuasion Skills Black Book Review will let you know if this is the right book for you.

Whether for dating, sales, leadership or parenting persuasion skills are important. In Rintu Basu’s Persuasion Skills Black Book you are given simple hypnotic patterns that you can use in any context. The aim of the book it to provide practical persuasion skills for typical situations.

To write a comprehensive treatment on conversational hypnosis would make a long book. Rintu says in his book that the main aim was to find easy to use patterns that you can learn very fast. To this end the book is more practical than comprehensive.

Rintu has been training NLP specifically for nine years although he has been a trainer for over twelve. He is used to training both professional and personal uses of NLP Persuasion skills.

In The Persuasion Skills Black Book I found the most value was the fact that Rintu very early on gives you patterns that you can use within minutes of seeing them. He then builds these into more complex patterns that have more scope and power. What this meant for me was I could take what I had learned and apply it within minutes and then build on this.

The Persuasion Skills Black Book starts with simple patterns and guides you to logically to more complex idea taking a completely practical approach to learning. The hypnotic language patterns are clearly laid out with examples and illustrations for each pattern.

The first pattern took a little while for me to get used to. I felt that I would get caught out and that it was a little strange to say. Taking the advice from the book I spent a few minutes saying the pattern out loud before using it on someone else. The results were spectacular and very soon I found myself using the pattern without thinking about it. Very quickly I was developing new and complex language patterns of my own.

In his book Rintu states that as interest in hypnotic persuasion has risen there have been an upsurge of books and information on the subject that is often confusing and complex. Having read a few books and websites on the subject I would have to agree with him.

One thing that would make the book even better would be if Rintu had given more examples of using hypnotic persuasion patterns in written form. That said he has one very comprehensive example and sites different places where you can go to see more.

If you are looking for an in depth analysis of the hypnotic implications of various patterns and words this book will not give it to you. If you are looking for specific usable language patterns that you can instantly take away and use then this is the ideal book to use.

If persuasion skills in any context are important to you then this is an important read. Many people would benefit from this book including trainers and teachers looking to develop students, managers wanting to motivate staff, parents managing their children and singles looking for a dream date.

There would be a definite advantage in bringing out a companion volume. It is the illustrations, examples and applications that make this book work. If Rintu were to seize the opportunity to write this companion book I think it would be a great addition.

There is more information on Persuasion Techniques and Rintu Basu’s The Persuasion Skills Black Book at the website.
